About us

On the hills above Cisternino, between olive trees and wind.

Aia del Vento is a small hotel a few minutes from the centre of Cisternino, in the heart of Valle d'Itria. Twenty-eight rooms, a garden of centuries-old olive trees, a terrace overlooking the valley.

The village is just a kilometre away, with its white alleys and its tables under the pergolas. Mornings here are long, and the wind that gives the house its name is always there, on the hills of the valley.

Rooms

Three types, twenty-eight rooms.

Family rooms for parties of four, triples with the extra bed, doubles spread across three floors. The first-floor rooms look out over the Itria Valley; the others face the garden, or the deep quiet of the lower floor.

What's around

Valle d'Itria, from a strategic position.

Cisternino is a whitewashed village less talked about than Ostuni and Alberobello — narrow alleys, piazzas, and a Norman tower keeping watch over the valley. Whatever you're after in Valle d'Itria is within half an hour's drive.
